Of course all parents want the best for their children. To that end it's sometimes nice to have an idea of what the child's soul's path is to help in the parenting process.

As the twig is bent, so grows the tree. But it's also nice to know ahead of time whether we are dealing with an oak tree, a spruce, or a palm tree. Each have different requirements for nourishment and environment.

This reading is a mix of the natal chart reading and the relationship reading except that the subject of the reading is the child and the recipient of the reading is the parent.

I commonly get requests for this reading shortly after the child is born, or a few years later when the unique personality of the child is emerging (often to the surprise of the parents).

While it's useful (and flattering) to remember that the child chooses the parents, the reason for that is because there are lessons for the child that only you, the parent(s), can teach. We look at that, too, in the reading. This is particularly important if you happen to be the parent of an Indigo child, as these children require a unique sort of upbringing.

Being a parent means we are re-escorting a soul back into the material plane for its latest chapter of spiritual evolution. We look at what that chapter of evolution might be so that you, the parent, can include that in your upbringing of the child.

We also look at the relationship between child and parent. Knowing the dynamic of the interaction helps in the communication. This key part of the reading often can head off potential difficulties and identify if there are any "blind spots" between parent and child.

If there is more than one child, we can look at the interaction between the siblings and the interactions between the children and the parent(s). In many respects this is an astrological reading of the family unit as much as it is an astrological reading of the child, for the family unit significantly shapes the child's view of the world.

This reading is designed for the parents of children aged 12 and under. It can be a lovely baby gift, and gift certificates are available for that purpose. If your kids are 13 or older I ask that their verbal permission be obtained before the reading. Kids are sharp these days. If you have a teenager you might be refreshingly surprised at how intuitively receptive they are to this sort of information. Kindly share the information in the reading with your teenager(s).
