Orcus Free  ephemeris four options available

Orcus has an eliptical 248-year orbit similar to Pluto's orbit

Four different ephemerides are available for Orcus using the standard astrological tropical zodiac. Pick the one which has the information you require. Retrogrades and stations are not indicated in any of these ephemerides. Nonetheless for three of them you will be able to identify and note them yourself with careful observation, but for the other ephemeris (Option Three below), retrogrades cannot be seen.

Orcus has an elliptical orbit similar in shape and duration to Pluto. Those familiar with the movement of Pluto by transit will quickly understand the movement of Orcus. Note: all these ephemerides were extracted from the Riyal software.

Option One:

The quick Orcus ephemeris. Covers the years 1900-2050 in ten-day intervals.  Must have for serious students of astrology or those wanting to locate Orcus quickly in their natal chart. This is still the handiest ephemeris for a quick reference. Option Two:

Orcus daily ephemeris for 1800 - 2103. This ephemeris is available for free download as a 555 KB zip file. Use WinZip or an equivalent utility to unzip this file on your hard drive. It expands into three ascii files of about 1.0 MB per file which can be opened in your Windows notebook, MS word, or whichever other word processing software you choose. One file for each century. Designed for those who need a daily Orcus position in the modern world. Retrogrades and stations are easily discernable. Note the position of Orcus is calculated to the arc second, which is perhaps a little too optimistic. Click here to download.

Option Three:

The annual (366-day) Orcus ephemeris. Gives the planetary position once a year every year from 601 C.E. to 2103 C.E.   Ideal for those wanting a quick historical overview of Orcus over a 1,500-year period of time. Retrogrades and stations are not indicated. Click here to view, then download the file from your browser to your hard drive.

Option Four:

If the annual ephemeris in Option Three above does not have the detail you require, try the large 10-day Orcus ephemeris which covers the same 602 C.E. to 2103 C.E. time period in detail. This ephemeris is available for free download as a 304 KB zip file. Use WinZip or an equivalent utility to unzip this file on your hard drive. It expands to a 1.5 MB ascii file which can be opened in your Windows notebook, MS word, or whichever other word processing software you choose. Designed for the serious astrological researcher or the exceptionally curious. Retrogrades and stations are discernable in this ephemeris. Note the position of Orcus is calculated to the arc second here as well, which is perhaps a little too optimistic. Click here to download.
